Imagine a scenario where we want to explain something in various ways. A printed page, web page, an email, a spoken podcast, a video with and without sound, and a slide show. When possible, we would also like our media to be interactive with the end user. We would also like the language to be appropriate for the end user. And the content and layout should adapt to the medium.
